What To Expect

In our session, I’ll assess your movement patterns, such as walking and squatting, noting habits like leaning on one leg and hands on hips. I’ll inquire about past injuries and current pain. Using massage/bodywork, stretches, and exercises, we’ll focus on rebalancing your body. Towards the end, we’ll review your home program to maintain momentum and refine your movement patterns.

Client Testimonials

I met Ryan Schuler in 2017 while he was working at the gym I attended, and will be forever grateful that I did. I am a family practice doctor and have recommended many body work experts to my patients. I have also seen many myself. It has become obvious to me over the years that there are some who are not good, more who are great, but few who excel. Ryan excels at what he does. I truly believe Ryan has a gift. He has an innate ability to sense subtleties in the human body…things that others would easily miss. And he has a unique ability to find the source of an issue, address it, and then provide specific home exercises to allow continuation of the work he does for maximal healing... [read more]

I can’t say enough about Ryan Schuler and his giftings in the area of healing the body. There are many folks out there who are trained and passionate, but I have never encountered anyone that has the innate ability to understand and see what is out of alignment and balance in a person’s body and be able to diagnosis and give excellent instruction in how to make corrections and achieve restoration in their body... I was referred to Ryan from my doctor after experiencing a lot of weird nerve sensations all over my body. I was quite concerned it was serious. During our sessions, Ryan worked on certain areas and introduced me to some basic exercises. Within a short amount of time all the nerve stuff was gone. I had neglected my body for so long and developed chronic weakness and imbalances from the computer work, poor posture, all of that. I've kept seeing Ryan, almost two years now, and am stronger and feeling better than I have in decades... [read more]

FAQ

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

The frequency of our sessions depends on your individual needs. Your level of pain, duration of discomfort, body awareness, and prior therapy influence this. Initially, weekly sessions for 2-3 weeks are optimal to establish progress. Afterward, most individuals find maintenance with sessions every 2-4 weeks effective in staying on track.

Yes, you’ll be given a home program lasting 10-20 minutes, to be done 3-5 days a week. This is crucial for instigating change and achieving a pain-free state.

Our sessions are scheduled for 75 minutes, but they may extend to ensure all your questions are addressed before you leave.

The timeline to alleviate pain varies, often ranging from 1-4 weeks to a broader recovery span of 2-6 months. Similar to restoring a car, we aim to restore your body to a younger, healthier state. However, predicting an exact timeframe is challenging due to factors like stress, hydration, nutrition, past injuries, and pain duration.

Consider your lifestyle’s impact—prolonged standing or intense activity may affect recovery. Committing to the daily program, forming new habits, and incorporating a nightly routine are crucial. If this level of commitment isn’t feasible, our program might not be the right fit.

Aligning these factors accelerates recovery, emphasizing a holistic approach to well-being.
